The planning division is responsible for creating annual and five-year housing plans, as well as annual reports, planning development projects within the Reservation, and working with other governmental agencies on future development plans both inside and outside the Reservation.

Developing housing plans, water & sewer lines, electrical access and more all managed by the planning program in the Department of Community Development.

Infrastructure

Tribal engineers coordinate with planning partners to develop long-range growth initiatives for the Highway 305 corridor, roads, stormwater systems and more.

Suquamish Shores

Growth management planning for the Tribe’s Suquamish Shores property is part of our larger effort to expand and develop tribal land on the Port Madison Indian Reservation.

The Suquamish Tribe works collaboratively with the following partners on planning projects in and around the Port Madison Indian Reservation. Projects coordinated with partners include long-term growth management, pedestrian safety, county roadways, stormwater management, sewer systems and public transportation.
