The Marion Forsman-Boushie Early Learning Center interweaves Suquamish cultural practices with standard learning programs. Students participate in Suquamish cultural events and workshops, learn about Suquamish traditions and take Lushootseed language courses throughout the school year. Families with disabled children, Suquamish Tribal Members, Native American children and low income families living in the service area are encouraged to apply.

Does my child qualify?

Designed to provide comprehensive early childhood education to better prepare children for kindergarten, Head Start classrooms serve children ages 3-5 years old. In addition to early childhood curriculum, the program includes health and nutrition components, and opportunities for parental involvement.
