Elders Lunch Program

The grant-funded Elders Lunch Program provides Tribal Elders, their spouses, and anyone over 55 who lives on the Port Madison Reservation with a nutritious lunch every weekday from 11:30am to 1pm. Lunch delivery is available to homebound Elders who meet eligibility criteria. Community members who are not Elders are welcome to purchase a lunch for $5.00.

Eligibility

Elders Lunch

  • Tribal Elders, spouses, disabled members or any person over 55 years of age residing on the Port Madison Indian Reservation
  • Staff members over 55 years of age
  • Individuals under 55 years (required to pay $5 for a meal).

Homebound Elders Lunch Delivery

Tribal Elders or disabled members who:

  • Reside on the Port Madison Indian Reservation AND
  • Have no transportation to the Elders Lunchroom OR
  • Are unable to safely prepare their own meals OR
  • Are recovering from a serious illness, surgery or medical condition and cannot prepare meals temporarily.

Services

  • Lunch is provided every weekday at the Elders Lunchroom from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
  • Lunch Delivery for homebound elders is provided every weekday from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
