Executive Boards & Committees

Executive Boards and Committees are made up of Suquamish Tribal Members, appointed by the Suquamish Tribal Council to serve for a term of three years. Additionally, the charters for the Suquamish Museum Board of Directors and the Suquamish Foundation Board of Trustees allow for community members who are not Suquamish Tribal Members to be appointed by Tribal Council.

  • Port Madison Enterprises Board

    An agency of the Suquamish Tribal Government created in 1987 to develop community resources while promoting the economic and social welfare of the Suquamish Tribe through commercial activities.

  • Suquamish Museum Board

    Charged with carrying out cultural, religious, historic and educational programs of the museum.

  • Suquamish Seafoods Board

    Oversees commercial seafood activities for the Tribe, such as commercial harvesting and processing of shellfish, marketing and sales of all seafood goods to the public.

  • Suquamish Housing Board

    Directs the management of housing resources for the Suquamish Tribe, alleviating an acute shortage of decent, safe, sanitary and affordable housing for Tribal Members of low income on the Port Madison Indian Reservation.

  • Higher Education Board

    Charged with promoting and enhancing the educational goals of the Suquamish Tribal Community.
