Cockle Crew Contractors Needed

Interested in working with cockles this spring and summer? The Fisheries Department has paid intern and technician positions open now!

Cockle Intern​ pays $20/hr

Cockle Technician​ pays $18.30

While there is some flexibility in length of the contract and hours worked, generally both positions need people who can work:

• From April or May 2025 through August 2025, with the possibility for some work through the fall.
• 30 hours per week for about 18 weeks.
• During weekday extreme low tides (very important.) Most important dates can be provided up front.

These are contract seasonal positions; no benefits are included.
