What is the Climate Adaptation Workgroup?
The workgroup, made up of governmental staff and tribal community members, will be used to help shape the Suquamish Tribe’s commitments to climate resilience and energy sovereignty.
What is the workgroup’s meeting schedule?
Meetings will be held from 2:00–3:00 p.m. in the Tribal Council Chambers on the following Wednesdays:

Who can apply to serve on the workgroup?
Suquamish tribal members, high-school aged and up are encouraged to apply. They must be able to fully commit to all monthly meetings (1-hour in length), which begin in January 2026.
Will I be compensated?
Participants* will receive a $50 stipend for each full meeting they attend.
*Government employees are not eligible for the stipend
How do I applyl?
Apply online using this link or complete a hard copy at Fisheries in the Tribal Admin Building. Applications must be received by Nov. 30, 2025 at 5pm.
