Call for Artists: Pattern for storytelling about Suquamish Tribe’s healthcare leadership
What we’re looking for: A background pattern created by a Suquamish tribal artist, which could be used across a number of communications materials distributed by the Suquamish Tribe.
How it will be used: Your art will be the recognizable, unifying element that weaves together videos, social media graphics and flyers that share about the tribe’s investments in health and wellbeing for the region. The pattern you develop will be paired with line art illustrations created for this campaign.
Art parameters: We are looking to create a background pattern and also design elements. Artwork created should feel minimal, soft, and embody movement, as well as be true to the Suquamish Tribe.
- Background pattern should be like line art; 1-2 colors; strong supporting background element
- The design elements should look and feel similar to the background pattern but will be used across campaign materials like on the Suquamish Tribe website, social media, in printed materials like brochures, posters, or banners
To apply: Submit your portfolio/work samples and a short summary about you and your approach as an artist. Email your submission to ebischoff@suquamish.nsn.us
Submission deadline: Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026
Compensation for selected artist: $1,500
