What is a King Tide?

A King Tide is the combination of heavy rain and high tide with the gravitation pull between the moon and the earth.  In basic terms, it is an extremely high tide. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has predicted King Tide levels a few times this year between November 2023 and February 2024. It is important to be aware and be prepared and King Tides have the potential to cause flooding on shoreline properties.
