The Education Department will pay $1,000 for the selected logo design.

Designs will be accepted until July 15, 2026.

The artist may consider themes such as:

• Iconic Suquamish Coast Salish Design
• Daily scenes
• Learning
• Growing
• Generational, different ages of Suquamish people, doing something together
• Nature, unfolding fern, sunrise
• Whatever you think fits the concept of “Suquamish Centered Since Time Immemorial Curriculum”

About the curriculum:

New Suquamish Since Time Immemorial middle school and high school curriculum units will soon be taught in classrooms throughout the region. Developed for use in school districts throughout Suquamish Tribe’s traditional territory, the curriculum includes coursework on territory and treaty making, the culvert case, housing and fishing rights.
