Tribe releases Suquamish Economic Development Strategy draft for public comment
Tribal members invited to provide comments and feedback!
Help build a strong & sustainable economic future for Suquamish Tribe
The Suquamish Tribe is pleased to announce the release of its DRAFT Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for public review. This five-year strategy, funded by the U.S. Economic Development Administration, offers a roadmap to guide the tribe’s future economic decision-making and financial growth strategies.
The CEDS is not an operational plan and does not outline specific projects. Instead, it identifies strategies based upon research into the tribe’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats within our region.
We invite all Suquamish tribal members to review the DRAFT CEDS report and share your feedback. The Public Review Period ends July 15, 2025.
View the DRAFT report here.
A Public Hearing to receive feedback will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 18 via Zoom. Look for a link in the SUN Weekly Update in early July.
