Scenario: It's a beautiful warm and sunny day, there is a slight breeze carrying the smell of pine trees through the air. You're no stranger to the smoke-filled air caused by wildfires elsewhere in the state, thankfully, they've never been too close to home, until now. As you're enjoying a quiet afternoon at home, you receive an emergency alert on your phone. A Level 2 evacuation notice — be ready to leave — has been issued for your neighborhood. A wildfire has broken out in the woods nearby, and it's advancing toward your community local firefighters are actively engaged in fighting the fire, but the breezy conditions are causing embers to travel.
